I have developed a keen interest in gardening over the past couple years and find it very relaxing and rewarding. I currently do around 90% of my gardening in containers since the soil in my area is full of clay and rocks. I grow most all my flowers and herbs in terra-cotta pots, cedar flower boxes and large galvanized steel wash bins. Most my vegetables are in two large above ground garden boxes (without bottoms) made of wood which gives me approximately 20 feet x 4 feet to work with. All of my gardening knowledge has come from experience (especially trial and error), friends, family and books. Hopefully, the knowledge I will be sharing will be as useful to you as it is to me.
